SAP Database Core
The SAP Database at the core of Retail Manager means that the software can handle thousands of transactions per second enabling ultra-fast till processing time.
Cloud systems are sufficient where the number of products is relatively small but, in a scenario, where say a retailer has 10 shops & 100,000 product lines then there are 1 million stock lines with potentially several million lines of sales history.
Our Retail Manager system runs on SAP Sybase database technology. This gives extremely fast database performance which is critical in a large & busy retail environment. From our experiences in dealing withclients who have used Cloud systems, speed has been a major issue in larger environments such as the example above.

Originally part of the Opus group of companies we were the main reseller of “Retail Manager” EPOS system before eventually purchasing the company outright in 2004. Since then our software company has grown and continued to keep apace with all software developments in the market.
